Dirty Cat Studio Merchandise and Downloadable Assets Return Policy

At Dirty Cat studio, we strive to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Our products are fulfilled through a Print on Demand service, and some of our offerings include non-returnable digital downloads. Below are the terms and conditions regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds.

1. Returns for Misprints, Damage, or Defective Items

If you receive a misprinted, damaged, or defective item, we want to make it right. You can submit a claim within 30 days of receiving your product for a replacement or refund. Please include a detailed description and, if possible, photos of the issue.

  • For lost packages, claims must be made within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.
  • Items deemed faulty or misprinted due to our supplier’s error will be replaced or refunded at no cost to you.

2. Wrong Address or Unclaimed Items

  • Wrong Address: If you or your customer provides an incorrect or insufficient shipping address, the package will be returned to our Print on Demand supplier’s facility. You will be responsible for the cost of reshipping once we confirm an updated and accurate address.
  • Unclaimed Shipments: Shipments that are unclaimed or undeliverable will also be returned to our supplier’s facility. You will be responsible for any reshipment fees to send the order again to the correct address.

3. Items Not Eligible for Return

Due to the custom nature of our products, certain items are non-refundable:

  • Downloadable Assets: Once digital products (such as downloadable music, artwork, or other files) are purchased and delivered, they cannot be returned or refunded. By completing your purchase of a digital item, you agree that all sales are final.
  • Face Masks: For hygiene and safety reasons, face masks cannot be returned or reshipped once the packaging seal is broken.
  • Custom or Personalized Products: Products that are custom-made or personalized according to your specifications are not eligible for returns unless they are defective or misprinted.

4. Returns for Buyer’s Remorse or Size Exchanges

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for buyer’s remorse. If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or color, this will be done at your expense. Please note that:

  • You will need to place a new order and cover the costs of the replacement.
  • Returns for size exchanges are not processed unless a new order has been placed.

For customers in Brazil, specific consumer protection regulations apply. If you are a customer residing in Brazil and wish to return a product, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving the item. The item will be evaluated to ensure it is unused or undamaged before processing a refund.

5. EU Consumers – Right of Withdrawal

In compliance with the EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights:

  • The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are personalized.
  • The right of withdrawal also does not apply to sealed goods that are unsealed after delivery for health protection or hygiene reasons (e.g., face masks).
  • Downloadable digital content is exempt from the right of withdrawal once the download or streaming process has begun.

6. Return Process

To request a return or report an issue with your order, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at hello@dirtycatstudio.com within 30 days of receiving your order and provide a detailed description of the issue, along with photos if applicable.
  2. Return Approval: If your return is approved, you will receive instructions on how to proceed.
  3. Refunds or Replacements: For approved returns, we will offer either a refund or a replacement, depending on the issue.

Unclaimed returns will be donated to charity after 30 days.
